Girl Student's Grievance Redressal Committee
At the beginning of each academic year, Girl Students’ Grievance Redressal Committee is constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the girl students of the Institution. The institution takes immense care and gives importance to the safety and security of girls and women on campus. The committee stays alert all the time to prevent any sexual abuse towards the girl students.
Aims and Objectives
- Any grievance so received is scrutinized and necessary action is taken immediately by the Committee
- Â To take necessary action on the grievances received
- Â Be proactive on women’s safety on campus
- Â Taking feedback from the girls on the campus, and sharing it with relevant authorities to improve our safety system
- Â Upholding the dignity of the Institution by promoting cordial student-student relationships and student-teacher relationships etc
Library Committee
Library is the heart of the campus and it is a central and integral part of academic life. It plays a vital role in the administration of justice. ‘As the court of law is the temple of justice, the law library is the temple of knowledge’, and as such, library service continues to play an effective and efficient role in the legal profession
Roles and Responsibility
- Â To provide general direction to the library
- Â To formulate action plan for the development of library infrastructure, facilities, products and services
- Â To outline the library collection and development policy as and when required, in its implementation.
- Â To review the functioning of the library with regard to its support to the academic programs of the institute.
- Â To evaluate the suggestions offered by the users.
- Â To prepare budget estimation and allocation for procurement of books.
- Â To suggest ways and means to generate revenue from library resources.
- Â To assist in stock verification, Unserviceable/old book, missing/ weeding out/write off from the library stock or to replace.
- Â To recommend authorities for filling the staff requirements, requirements like building, furniture and other fittings in the library.
- Â To take action against the users in irregularities in returning the books on time and any misbehaviour which is beyond the control of the librarian.
- Any other function as assigned by the Chairperson for overall development.
- The Committee meet at least once in every quarter.
